Most cleaning is sold by the hour, which quietly rewards finishing early. Framework is priced by the home and the service — so the incentive is the result, not the clock.

Every visit follows the same room-by-room checklist, in the same order, top to bottom. It is why the first clean and the fifteenth look the same in the photos.

The name is the idea: a framework is a repeatable way of doing something well. Not a favour, not a one-off — a standard you can book again.

Our origin

Built like a system, not a favour.

Before founding Framework, I spent years as a VP of Operations building technology companies. The work was defined by systems that scaled, processes that did not break, and teams that delivered complex work without being watched.

Cleaning in Vancouver looked like the opposite: no-shows, inconsistency, and very little accountability. The problem was never effort. It was the absence of an operating framework.

Framework is that framework, applied to property care. Quality assurance, scheduling discipline and transparent reporting — the protocols of a tech operation — now run a cleaning company.

The aspiration is simple: to be the most trusted property care partner in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. A high-rise lobby, a strata corridor, a family home in Kitsilano — the standard should not change with the address.

Systems are nothing without the right people. Earlier in my career I trained for Whole Foods Market, where care is taught and practised rather than assumed. Our cleaners are vetted, trained and managed the same way — a hospitality standard, applied to homes.

Method Steam sanitation Commercial-grade steam lifts grease and bacteria out of grout, appliance crevices and fixtures — a hospital-grade clean without harsh chemical residue.

Method Colour-coded microfibre A bathroom cloth never touches a kitchen counter. A rigid colour system stops cross-contamination between rooms, every visit.

Questions people ask before booking

Short answers

Who will clean my home?

A Framework cleaner working to the checklist on this site. The visit and its scope are confirmed before arrival, and you can reach us directly to change anything — there is no separate scheduling department to chase.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most clients leave entry instructions — a lockbox, keypad or concierge — and come back to a finished clean. Buildings with concierge or fob protocols are routine for us.

What products do you use?

Pet-safe, low-fragrance products as standard. If you prefer a specific product on a particular surface, leave it out with a note and we will use yours.

What happens if something is missed?

Tell us within 48 hours of the visit and we return to correct it. That is the re-clean guarantee — it is not conditional on a minimum spend or a subscription.

Are you insured?

Yes — general liability insurance. For strata and commercial work we can provide a certificate of insurance for the building’s records.

How is the price worked out?

Flat rate, based on the service and the size of the home — bedrooms and bathrooms, not hours. The price is shown when you book, and any add-on is priced and agreed before it is done.

Do you clean commercial and strata properties?

Yes. Commercial and strata work starts with a walkthrough and a written scope rather than online booking, because frequency and areas vary by building.
