What a move-out clean includes
This is not a regular clean with more time attached. It is the empty-home standard a landlord or buyer walks into: everything that has been hidden behind furniture for two years, exposed.
- Inside all cabinets, drawers and closets — shelves, interiors, runners
- Inside the oven, under the burners, and inside the fridge and freezer
- Baseboards, door frames, window sills, tracks and ledges throughout
- Bathroom grout, tile, tub, shower glass and fixtures descaled
- Vents, registers and light fixtures dusted; switch plates and handles wiped
- Walls spot-cleaned for scuffs and marks; marks that need paint are pointed out, not painted over
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, including corners and under where furniture sat
- Balcony or patio swept; full patio wash with the optional add-on
The deposit checklist most landlords use
Walkthroughs tend to fail on the same short list. These are the items we deliberately spend time on, because they are the ones that cost tenants money:
- Oven interior and stovetop — the single most common deduction
- Inside cabinets and drawers, especially under the sink
- Bathroom grout and shower glass, where hard water stains read as neglect
- Baseboards, door frames and window tracks
- Fridge and freezer interiors, seals and shelves
- Balcony and storage areas

Timing around possession day
Book for after the furniture is out and before the walkthrough. A four-hour clean on an empty unit is far more effective than the same four hours spent moving boxes aside, and most Vancouver leases give you a window between moving out and handing back keys.
The earliest start available in the online calendar is governed by a notice period, so if your possession date is close, check the calendar first and call if you need something sooner.

Questions
How long does a move-out clean take?
Four hours for the standard configuration. Larger homes and heavy build-up take longer, which is why the price steps up by bedroom and bathroom count rather than by the hour.
Do you clean inside the oven and fridge?
Yes, that is included in a move-out clean — not an extra. It is one of the main differences between this and a regular visit.
Will this get my deposit back?
It removes the cleaning reasons a landlord typically cites for deductions. The decision itself is theirs, so we will not promise an outcome we do not control.
The unit is still full of furniture — can you still clean?
We can, but the result is noticeably better once furniture is out, because we can reach floors and walls underneath. If the furniture is staying, the clean is priced the same but the scope is what is reachable.
Do you clean balconies and patios?
Sweeping is included. A full patio wash is an optional add-on priced at booking.
What if the home is bigger than the size I picked?
Tell us before the visit. The price is set by the configuration you choose, so it needs to match the property.
