Deep Cleaning in Vancouver
A top-to-bottom reset for the surfaces a regular clean only skims — the build-up that quietly accumulates through a Vancouver winter of closed windows and wet boots at the door.
What a deep clean adds
A recurring clean keeps a home at a standard. A deep clean establishes it. The extra hours go into the places that get skipped when time is short:
- Baseboards, door frames, trim and cornices throughout the home
- Inside the oven and fridge; appliance fronts, seals and hood filters
- Tile and grout in kitchens and bathrooms, descaled rather than wiped
- Vents, registers and ceiling fixtures dusted and degreased
- Window sills, tracks and interior glass
- Cabinet fronts, handles and high-touch edges degreased
- Under and behind movable furniture, including skirting and floor edges
- Walls spot-cleaned for marks and scuffs
Deep clean or recurring clean?
The honest answer depends on where your home currently sits. If it is maintained and you simply want someone else to hold the line, a recurring clean is the better value. If it has been months, you are moving in, or renovators have been through, a deep clean is what actually gets it clean — and a recurring clean afterwards keeps it there.
Booking a deep clean and then recurring is the sequence most new customers end up on, and it is the one that avoids paying for maintenance cleans on a home that needs a reset.
When people book a deep clean
- Spring, or before hosting through the holidays
- Moving into a home that was not cleaned by the previous occupant
- After a renovation, once the trades have left
- Before a recurring plan starts, to establish the standard
- When allergies or dust have built up over a few seasons

Questions
How is a deep clean different from a regular clean?
A regular clean maintains surfaces. A deep clean goes after what has accumulated: baseboards, grout, vents, appliance interiors, tracks and behind furniture. It is roughly twice the time for the same home.
Do you clean inside the oven and fridge?
Yes, both are included in a deep clean.
Do you move furniture?
We clean under and behind furniture that can be moved safely by one person. Beds, wardrobes and heavy pieces should be moved before we arrive if you want the floor underneath cleaned.
Do you clean exterior windows?
Interior glass is included. Exterior glass on upper floors needs equipment we do not carry, so it is not part of the standard price.
How long will it take?
Four hours for the standard configuration. The price already reflects that time, so a longer clean does not change the total.
Should I do this before or after moving my things?
Before moving in is easiest. If the home is already furnished, we will work around what is there and clean under anything movable.
